*Coco-Dan
originates from the rich soils and fresh waters of the Kurunegala
region of Sri Lanka. We make sure to remove dust and long fibers,
which can clog systems and provide a bad rooting environment- signs
of a lower quality coco. We blend the right size fibers and particles
to create a perfect rooting zone for your plants. And finally, we
fresh water wash our coco so that it is lower in sodium content. Use
Coco-Dan on its own or as a compliment to Grodan Gro-Cubes™
or granulate.
Coco-Dan has been approved by Grodan® as it is a superior coco
coir product. Unlike some coir products in the market that are too
old (older than two years from harvest) or high in salt content, our
source uses younger coir that has been flushed with fresh water to
reduce salt content. Our coco comes from coconut trees grown way inland,
in the Kurunegala region of Sri Lanka, thus guaranteeing a lower salt
content than those from coastal regions. You are using the same coir
provided to many large greenhouse growers throughout the world. You’ve
